DMA (Developmental Math) is a set of modules taught at the college where Brandon taught. These videos are essential for placing out of developmental math classes, helping you advance through your degree faster instead of taking extra math courses.
DMA Modules Covered
- DMA 010: Integers and basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Also covers basics of geometry including area, perimeter, and the Pythagorean Theorem.
- DMA 020: Fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals. All the essentials for working with these forms of numbers.
- DMA 030: Proportions and percents. Learn how to solve proportion problems and work with percentages.
- DMA 040: Equations and challenging word problems, plus inequalities. Practice solving and interpreting both equations and inequalities.
- DMA 050: Graphing lines, understanding slope, linear equations, and interpreting charts.
- DMA 060: Quadratics, quadratic equations, factoring, and related concepts.
- DMA 070: Rational expressions, rational equations, and the basics of rational functions.
